Physical Therapist Cover Letters
A physical therapist is a trained professional who is skillful in treating patients with cerebral palsy, joint pain and other injuries to the bone and other body parts. Their main aim is to help the patient overcome the physical limitations due to pain and regain their mobility.The common treatments that he gives are for fractures, ligament tear, regulating heart rate, and other physical aspects of the body. They help patients in starting to walk again after a serious accident due to which they might have been rendered immobile temporarily. They help with stimulating limbs and bringing back a normal blood flow in them. I recently saw your advertisement for an available job post of a Physical Therapist at your hospital. This ad was posted on www.medicinetoday.com dated 22st Nov, '13. I would like to apply for this job.
I have a good 7 years experience in the field of physical therapy and I have been treating patients at Riverside Hospital, Bronx since last 4 years. Here I have extensively worked with patients with lost muscular strength, accident victims and aged patients. I assist patients with their overall physical flexibility and mobility with the help of patient-specific physical exercises and muscle stimulation. A key part here is to stress on brain mapping and muscle coordination. Speaking of this, I am well trained with new brain mapping machines. Before this, I have worked for 3 years as an assistant therapist at Lincoln Medical Institute in New York where I successfully completed my on-the-job training.
I am a licensed physical therapist and have a doctoral level degree- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with extensive training in evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, locomotion and balance.
