WORK ENVIRONMENT:-

Being a district nurse, you will take care of range of non-hospital setting which includes GP surgeries, patient's homes and residential care homes. You will act in response quickly to patient's requirements to assist them avoid being admitted into hospital. WORKING CONDITIONS:-

Weekends and evenings work in becoming more common, and in many services you will work a shift for 12 hours. You might also cover an on-call-rota outside the standard service time.
