Job description of van driver includes following duties and responsibilities.

  • Drive on a planned route to bring and gather data to and from our clients.
  • Adhering to company procedures and policy relating to health and security and safety and accident avoidance at all times.
  • Read and interpret driving and maps directions to plan the most proficient route service for clients, as well as read and interpret road signs in English.
  • Load and unload data on to vehicles accurately and safely, making sure that data is transited and secured in a secure manner to the client.
  • Deliver cash and valuables to different clients.

  • Loads truck, utilizing dollies and hand truck, distributing weight evenly, forming compact load, and using space.
  • Acquire client's signature or gather payment for services.
  • Keep regular checks on their vehicles and report malfunctions to the administration as soon as probable.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when required like fueling the vehicles; making sure that periodic listed vehicle maintenance is finished and reported; documenting client usage; organizing trip reports; organizing incident and accident reports as essential.
  • Sustain every aspects of vehicles care counting cleaning and fueling. Support passengers and handicapped clients in and out of the vehicle; offering safety briefing to clients; as well as offering other services as demanded through administration when not busy in transportation service.
  • Working and keeping transportation vehicles through a focus on safety and customer courtesy; performing every day post-trip and pre-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain up to date records of trip programs, vehicles condition reports, client's applications, fuels records and other reports submit to management.
  • Keep accurate, modern records on trip sheets, fuel purchases, incident reports, vehicle maintenance, accident reports, vehicle condition reports, client transportation forms and other records that are demanded from management.
Skills:
  • Capability to arrange reports of delays and mishaps.
  • Excellent knowledge of vehicles and safety tools.
  • Available on long shifts, holidays, erratic hours, weekends etc.
  • Specialist in sustaining and managing their own vehicles.
  • Able to build strong customer rapport.
  • Knowledge of the roadways in and approximately their city.
