An architectural manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the architectural activities in the organization in which he/she is working. He/she is responsible for the approval of architectural specifications that are contained in the project plans. The architectural manager has to study the relevant reports and ensure that the designs comply with current standards and verify the documents and plans for accuracy and consistency.

An architectural manager is completely in charge of the architecture division of the organization and has to arrange the works to be executed on priority basis. The manager has the responsibility to lead, motivate, and advise the personnel of the architecture department and ensure that they are working in the safe environment. He or she has to see that the workers deliver their work according to the goals and standards set up by the organization.

An architectural manager is in charge of the monitoring of funds and preparing the estimates for the construction projects. The manager has to supervise the construction works carried out by the contractors and ensure that the quality of work is maintained throughout the project and the works satisfy the quality control procedures. He or she can also help in evaluating the tenders and awarding the contract to the right person.
