Job Description

An advertising project manager should have excellent communication skills and has the responsibility to present the products and services of the company effectively to reach the public and to increase the sales. It is the responsibility of the advertising manager to use many tactics to advertise a specific product. He/she has to plan different strategies to present efficient advertising campaigns in respect of the client's products and services.

It is the responsibility of the advertising manager to present the product or services of the company by using many creative advertising plans in order to increase the sales. He or she has the responsibility to assess the demand for the services and products by conducting sample surveys from the public in many areas and think of the strategies in advertising the products and take necessary steps to lift the demand and regularize the delivery system.

The advertising manager has to consult with the sales representatives, advertising agencies and media personnel to create consulting contracts. He or she has also to meet the customers frequently to estimate their marketing and advertising objectives. In totality, the advertising manager with team members is responsible for the high increase in sales of the products produced by the company, in which he or she is working.

Details of Employment:

At present, I am working as an advertising project manager in a reputed firm in Oregon from January, 2009 to till date and I am attending to the following responsibilities.

  • I am co-operating with the sales team in managing advertisement operation requests.
  • In order to understand the requirement and demand, I have conducted several meetings on weekly/monthly basis with clients, vendors, and customers.
  • I have maintained a good relationship with the vendors and have managed to work with delivery updates.
  • I have assisted the management in recruiting new employees and I am in charge of training them, and evaluating their performances after they are entrusted with the field campaigns.
  • I am also responsible for online advertising campaign and ensure the appropriate and timely campaigns.
  • I am monitoring the advertising campaigns and am very particular to deliver the projects on time.
  • I have prepared the evaluation reports on the campaigns undertaken and documented the same for future guidance.

Prior to the above employment, I was working as an advertising manager in a firm in Oregon from July, 2004 to December, 2008 and I had discharged the following duties.

  • I was in charge of online advertising and I had utilised several tactics in campaigning to make the products and services popular among the users and the public.
  • I had maintained cordial relationship with the sales representatives and other managers in their efforts in advertising campaigns.
  • I was in charge of clearing all types of troubleshoot on various technical issues and solved them with utmost efficiency.
  • With my computer skills I was able to increase the online traffic to website campaigns and tracked all campaigns.

Education

I have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from a reputed University in Boston.
I also have a Master's degree in Marketing from a University in South Virginia.
