Job Description:

The minimum requirement of resource teacher job position is that the candidate should be a graduate from high school or GED certified and must have a minimum of two years experience working in a preschool. The resource teacher should have computer skills such as expertise in computer applications viz., Microsoft Word, etc., and must be able to enter data in a database.

The teacher must also have excellent communication skills, both oral and written. He must be able to identify the needs of students with disabilities or other concerns and fulfill them with utmost efficiency. Keeping in mind the head start guidelines, he must be able to implement the basic principles.

Further, the resource teacher should have the capacity to establish and maintain a good relationship with students, parents, co-workers, and professional consultants. He should be in a position to assist the organization in recruiting students with any disability.
