Job Description:

An audit analyst has the responsibility to review corporate policies and procedures that come into force. He or she has to evaluate and recommend for improvement of businesses, processes and controls. The analyst has to identify and attend to the potential risks that arise in the business processes. He/she has to analyse the current policies and systems in practice by using analytical skills.

An audit analyst has to use his/her innovative ideas and introduce changes with a view to streamline the work process and ensure the efficiency in performance of work levels. He/she has to co-operate and work with the audit team in planning and executing audit activities of the company, and to assist the internal and external auditors of the organization in their work.

An audit analyst has to prepare the findings of the audit reports and provide recommendations to the management and ensure proper filing of the audit reports and keeping them in safe custody. He or she should be aware of the latest knowledge about audit tools and techniques and participate in periodical audit meetings and build a positive relationship with the auditors.
