A landscape gardener works in small scale landscapes, than a farm. His work responsibility involves every daily chore related to a garden and land. He looks after the maintenance of the land and plants. He takes care of plants, shrubs and trees on the landscape. A landscape gardener should have sufficient knowledge about the types of soil, plants, as well as equipments used for gardening.

His daily work involves cleaning the garden, watering plants, providing fertilizers to plants, etc. He also does occasional jobs like branch trimming, and collecting fruits and vegetables if available.
