Professor Dale Thompson, a former colleague from my 9 years teaching history at the University of San Diego, faxed me a copy of the posting for Vice President of Academic Affairs. Because I have maintained my high respect for USD over my years in Colorado, I am enclosing my resume for the search committee's consideration.

As my resume indicates, while at USD, I served on a committee to develop a cross-disciplinary approach to European studies.
