Computers are a part of our life today. We resort to computers for various operations as it makes it easy for us. The people who make things simpler for us by making various computer programs are known as Computer Programmers. These individuals make use of different languages such as C, C++, Java, etc., to write different computer programs that later on work as software or applications for us. C is one of the basic languages used in computer programming. There are many advanced languages these days, but every programmer knows and in fact must know C programming because it serves as a base for understanding more complicated languages used in programming.

Programmers using C for developing various computer programs are known as C Programmers. Their job role is similar to any other computer programmer except that he only makes use of C to develop programs. With the advancement in technology and different languages coming up, one must make sure that he knows other latest languages as well. Recruiters will prefer someone who has a knowledge of such languages and is comfortable working on different databases.

With a total work experience of 3 years, I am thorough with the roles and responsibilities of a C Programmer. Having mastered a few other languages like Java and HTML worked on various projects, I can solely take the credit of a few computer programs developed by me. Initially worked as a trainee, but later on was promoted to the position of a Sr. C Programmer, wherein I was responsible for developing programs independently.

• Report to the Project Manager
• Understanding the requirements of clients or the project and developing programs accordingly
• Make use of C language to develop programs
• Drafting a program plan on paper and documenting the same to use it as a blueprint.
• Making required changes in a program while progressing with the programming
• On completion of program conduct a pilot test of the same by implementing it and check for flaws or discrepancies
• Do a mock quality check before letting the program go through the final quality check
• Troubleshoot the queries put forth by the Quality Analysts, and rectify faults if any
