Dear Ms. Cook,

The time has come for me to make the big jump. In my time with KQRP I've gone from writing to production to on-air morning news broadcasts, and with Susan Burns going to Denver, I'd like to formally apply for her job as the morning drive disc jockey.

As you know, I've spent a lot of time perfecting my on-air skills by doing voice-overs (both for the station and freelance), weather fill-in and acting as MC for the MS Talkathon. In addition, I've been teaching Radio News writing at Brownhill.

I've enclosed a resume summarizing my work for KQRP, along with a tape of my on-air work.
