I am enclosing my resume and a few reference letters in response to the recent job posting for a principal at Wilson High School.

You have some knowledge of my credentials because of our work together on the computer systems committee two years ago. However, I would like to share a bit more about my qualifications for the job of principal. First, I had the opportunity to step in as principal for several weeks on various occasions because of some family emergencies experienced by our current principal. Second, I have served on several administrative and curriculum committees that have allowed me to stay on the cutting edge of educational practices throughout the country. Third, I seem to have an ability to develop rapport with all school stakeholder groups; this is a great help as we try to increase the quality of stakeholder involvement in our schools.
