The three years of graduate school were challenging and a lot of work, and I could have made more money by going to law school or doing an MBA, but I make enough to live comfortably, and the job security is fantastic. Plus, I have a job I love, and that's worth a lot. I doubt there are many lawyers or business people who get hugged by their clients on a daily basis, and I'm sure they don't get paid to play Battleship or Guess Who.
