Salary by years of experience:

Salary of a publisher at initial level is $68,000 for experience till 4 years. After more three to four years the salary is $79,840. After 10 years of experience in publishing the publisher is getting $98,587 as median salary. Finally when the publisher is having more than 20 years, he is entitled with the salary around 123,253 dollars.

Salary as per yearly sales:

For sales less than 500k salary of a publisher is $72,203, for 501k to 1999k its $102,930 and for 10M to 99M the salary provided to publisher is $120,450.

Salary by industry:

A magazine industry provides $95,639 to a publisher. Publishing company remunerate them with $102,419. Trade union pays $130,000, printing & publishing section give $110,000 whereas, and the marketing, media management & advertising industry provides the least of $83,120.

Boulder city pay $107,500, Washington remunerate $145,200 and Houston with $74,000. Boston is the city which provides the maximum salary of $240,300 in comparison with all listed companies.
