Career in medical very vast, if you are looking for medical as your career you have number of options open for you, so its you who need to decide your medical career according to your interest and as well as where you are good at. For that you need to know what all career opportunity is available in medical profession.
Many of them think that medical career means becoming a Doctor nothing more than that ,and due to its high fee structure or you can say because its very common profession few in spite of having interest in medical don’t go for this profession, this all happens due to lack of knowledge. So I am going to give you complete knowledge about the medical profession.
There are many medical courses which are given below:
BSc Nursing: this in one of the top profession in medical where you just need to take care of people who are ill. This four year’s course, it has lots of scope even in abroad, Nursing is one of the highest paying job.
The eligibly for this course is 10+2 with physics, math’s and Biology as the main Subject.
M Pharmacy: The four-year MPharm course provides a broad-based, scientifically strong education in pharmacy. It equips students with the skills needed to enter all areas of the profession and helps them adapt to changes that may occur during their careers. By the end of the first four years students are conversant with the professional aspects of pharmacy, able to communicate effectively and able to appreciate the professional and social role of the pharmacist.
The eligibility for MPharm course is 10+2 with Chemistry as the main Subject.
B.Sc. Medical Microbiology: Graduate Medical Microbiologists are in great demand both in Medical and non medical related fields of study and work. They ca even opt for pursuing higher studies for specialization or else they can work in pathology lab, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. they can even start up with there own private microbiology labs.
Eligibility for B.Sc. Medical Microbiology is 10+2 having studied Biology, chemistry and physics.
BSc Medical Sciences & Humanities: if you are interested in knowing about human body parts and how it works then this course is prefect for you. In this you get to study various aspects of human genetics, including nutrition, biology and the pathology of human disease.
Research and development in a wide range of industries, government laboratories and the National Health Service. Careers are also available in teaching, health and medical publishing, and medical sales.
This is three years full time course and you can even go for part time course it would take 5-8 years.
B.Sc. Medical Radio & Imaging Tech: due to advance technology and necessity of understanding major disease of internal part of the body some machines like CT Scan, Ultra sonography, MRI Scan, Endoscopy, Electro cardiograph, X-ray, and Electro encephalography are been developed and medical radio and imaging tech work on this machines where in they examine the body using this equipments .
Eligibility for B.Sc. Medical radio & imaging tech is 10+2 with physics, math’s and biology.
B.Sc. Renal Dialysis: for the proper treatment the patient has to be diagnosed properly for that all the necessary testing are done and this are done by renal dialysis technicians / lab technicians . These technicians work not only in clinical laboratories but also their services are required to support scientists/researchers in carrying out the research work.
Eligibility for B.Sc. Renal Dialysis is 10+2 with Chemistry, maths and biology.
B.Sc. Cardiac Perfusion Technology: this deals with cardiovascular technologists and treats ailments related to the heart and blood vessels. Cardiology technologists specialize in cardiac assist physician’s and catheterization procedures .they also prepare patients for these procedures and monitor their state-using electrocardiogram (EKG) during the operation.
Eligibility for B.Sc. Cardiac Perfusion Technology is 10+2 with Chemistry, physics and biology with minimum 40% marks.
