Are you interested in acting and want to make your career with it?
Acting is most creative field where in you need to be smart and talented. Acting is the technique where actors aspire to produce in themselves the thoughts and emotions with in the characters in an attempt to generate lifelike performances. It can be contrasted with more classical forms of acting, in which actors reproduce thoughts and emotions through outer means, such as oral accent or facial expression.
The people who are acting in theater, films, and television are proficiently trained. So before starting up and exposing your self to the industry it better to get trained properly and to be ready to start up your career. One should never attend auditions until and unless they are ready this mistake may damage your career, remember your every audition in front of directors will make your impression. so if you are not ready then you are running your chance in front of directors and actors need to always improve them self by constant practice.

The new comers have to follow steps to reach to there dream position;

PHOTOS:
Photos in this profession acts as the business cards which gives your first impression in front of directors, they are the most power full tool that you will be having.
Looks in the photos are very important so according to that dressing in such a way that it should not draw attention from your face for that you should go for cool dark colors which are contrast to your skin tone will surly help you to present your self more attractive .
The most important thing which has to be remembered in your snapshot is to be yourself. Don’t try to over-glamorize yourself, just try to look as much like you do during your day to day life as possible. And your close up snaps would give better impression on the directors.

RESUMES:
As you know now that photos are like business card but even resumes are also important to list about your tanning and credits of your last performance and acting resume will be very different than professional corporate resumes.
First part of the resume will contain information about your name and physical appearance which includes you height, weight, color, hair, eyes and there color.
Instead of appropriate age its better to give range of the age.
After the physical description now comes the turn of you credits in acting. In this you should specify your character, production name, what kind of role (co-star, lead, recurring, etc), and the director’s name.
List out your training that you have done and if you have taken any special classes then you should specify it in your resume and even addition of your special skill would be better. Many times its possible to get a role not based on how you look or what training you’ve had, but instead because they need a performer who has a specific skill. In the beginning, it is important to get any and all experience possible to add to your resume.

ACTING CLASSES:
As an actor, one should repeatedly do your best to improve your “skill” by taking acting classes. These classes are not just for beginners, its fact, all good actors; even some big stars prolong to take classes after achieving success.
It’s important to choose the appropriate classes;

• If the classes are expensive doesn’t mean that they will be good so go for such classes where you can learn and even afford it.
• It’s good to if you join small classes with the size of around 12-15 student, because in such classes one get more attention.
• Join the acting classes to remove your weakness means if you are not good in comedy then you should go for comedy acting classes.

SELF PROMOTION:
In this field its important to self promotes and can touch your dream place and touch the successes. One of the best ways to introduce you to people is through mailings to casting directors, agents, production companies and producers.
If an actor who has less acting ability than you may but get more parts and more opportunities just because that person is better at self-promotion.
The mails which you are sending should contain your photo and resume along with your cover letter asking for the interviews and if you are not been promoted by the agents then you can even try promoting by sending the mail to some producer and producer company.
